Katy Perry

//Katy Perry
Girl who knows how to have fun with her dressing! She brought back the retro 1940s-1950s American wartime pinup girls style with a bang! I like her quirky, I don't give a shit about what you think kind of style.Looks gorgeous with natural makeup too.Nevertheless..I don't quite agree with her recent love of boob-flashing-at-any-chance-she-has-got.

Ai Tominaga

//Introducing Ai Tominaga!
She is my favourite Japanese runway model. Her walk is very strong and she exudes confidence. I absolutely love it when she walks with long flowy Elie Saab dresses! This is one model which wears the clothes (as opposed to letting the clothes wear the model) She is so fierce in couture and deconstructed minimalist wear!!! She does ready to wear as well. You might have seen her in a couple of GAP advertorials. Notable shows include Tom Ford for Gucci (hello!!), Chanel Couture, Dior Couture and Ready to Wear, Lavin, Ladgerfeld, Valentino, Cavalli, Mcqueen and Galliano! Can it get any better than that? Review : Kose Salon Style Hair Mask

// Kose Salon Style Hair Mask by Kose Cosmeport
Price: 700Yen or so
My hair was going through a particularly bad period (read: hair being extremely dry + falling out) but a twice a week regime of this hair mask rescued my hair somewhat. After using this for more than a month, I believe I am well equipped to review this baby!
Bought this one quite awhile back...because I was desperately in need of a hair mask and Hasegawa Kyoko was on the sticker! :D

This one gets 4/5 from me!I recommend a twice a week regime for this one.

Its light on the wallet(Very important!!) and most importantly, it does live up to its claims. Its fairly thick and moisturising so a little goes a long way. Personally, I prefer a thick hair mask that doesn't drip so this is another plus point! Then again, it takes a little more time to wash this mask off your hair.
It does smoothen slightly damaged tresses which means less frizziness :D :D I didn't apply the mask near my scalp as I didn't want my scalp to clogged up. It definitely made my hair easier to comb but that effect disappears the next day.
Scent-wise, it has a sweet honeysuckle scent, nothing too strong or artificial.I like the gold packaging as well! Even with wet hands, the lid unscrewed quite easily so there wasn't any fumbling with the tub. +1point for sturdy, non slippery lid!
My only grouch is that this baby can't be found easily in drug stores (even in Japan). I would repurchase if I can find it, but I wouldn't go out of my way to get it.

Spring 2010 RTW : Jimmy Choo for H&M

//Jimmy Choo for H&M
I'm still on the fence for this one. From what I see here, these clothes are meant for the slimmer ones. Sure, those look fairly good on the models but I really want to see these cuts modelled in plus sizes. Ready to wear for everyone, no? Not just Ready to Wear for size 0-2.
I like the one shoulder dress the best. Classic and understated, unlike the first dress which resembles a bathrobe. The rest are just Rock and Roll styles a la Jimmy Choo's own line.. nothing too exciting. Then again, I'm almost over black studs and leather jackets. (And please, no wet leggings) The bracelets and the clutches are pretty verstile pieces though.
Style-wise, the obligatory men's line is not impressing me at all..although the prices are pretty impressive. Just wardrobe staples at a good price. The suit looks dapper..but I still prefer Dsquared2 suits. (If you have serious cash to splash, then may I recommend you Dior Homme Suits too?:) )

Verdict:
To die for? No. But if you can take your time to get these pieces without queuing 3 hours or fighting off other crazies,then maybe.

Welcome: //Of Heart Prints & Rings

//Welcome to Black Box For A Head.
I choose to put a black box over my head because
I dislike having my face all over the internet. (You'll never know right?) I like to have a little self-censorship here for the sake of my own sanity.

I believe that fashion is not how much boob or butt you can show but how you rock the outfit. For a lack of a better word, how fierce you are (Totally ripped off Christian Siriano right there.. Who by the way is the best thing to have happened to/appeared on Project Runway). Fashion doesn't have to be expensive either. I'm definitely looking forward to more Target or H&M-esque collaborations for the masses.

Outfit of the day:
Comme Des Garcons PLAY tee, Flower hairtie, SwordFish shorts,
Overknee socks, Nike dunks, Cher bag

L3's outfit of the day is so cleverly matched. She accessorizes with black and it jazzes up an otherwise plain outfit. I really liked how the bag gave the look a dash of welcomed colour.Particularly liked the high collar and the low neckline on the vest that elongated the silhouette.Very understated but the effort she puts into the details makes it tasteful, not overdone.

Can't wait for my Comme Polkadots to come.
